New Prague, Minnesota:
Hometown Warmth
New Prague is a small, progressive town just 45 miles southwest of the Twin Cities. A thriving business and agricultural community, it is rich in Czech, Bavarian and Bohemian culture. Many residents of Philipp Square are originally from the New Prague area, and they have chosen to stay because of the familiarity, friendliness, and ease of living that this city and Philipp Square provide.

Philipp Square is one block off Main Street, within walking distance of a variety of full-service and fast-food restaurants, a coffee shop, florist, gift and antiques shops, markets, and more. Within a mile of Philipp Square is the New Prague Golf Club, a municipal, daily-fee golf facility open to the general public. New Prague is also home of Queen of Peace Hospital, which is Scott County’s first level-three trauma center.

Just 14 miles due west of 35W and 14 miles east of Hwy 169, New Prague is a rural community within minutes of big-city conveniences.
